A printed napkin may be the most underrated branding tool in hospitality. It sits on every table, passes through every guest's hands, and shows up in the photos guests share. But what does it cost to print napkins with your logo, which size should you choose, and how does ordering work? This guide covers the practical side.
Want to know first why branded napkins work and how to use them? Read our complete guide to custom printed napkins. This article goes deeper into pricing, sizes and the most common questions.
What does napkin printing cost?
At Natudine, napkin branding starts at 1,000 units, with an entry price from €0.03 per napkin. The larger your order, the lower the price per unit: volume discounts scale automatically up to a maximum of 50,000 units per order. The napkin configurator shows your price instantly. As an indication, the configurator prices 10,000 napkins at roughly €0.039 each.
Three choices shape the final price:
- Napkin type — tissue or Airlaid.
- Size — from a compact cocktail napkin to a large dinner napkin.
- Print — 1-colour or full-colour.
Tissue or Airlaid: which napkin suits your venue?
Tissue napkins are our standard paper napkin, available in 20×20, 24×24 and 33×33 cm. They suit cafés, lunchrooms, terraces and takeaway — anywhere napkins go through in volume and price per unit matters.
Airlaid napkins (40×40 cm) feel like fabric, with more volume and absorbency. They are made for premium table settings: fine dining, hotel restaurants, weddings and corporate dinners. Your guest notices the difference the moment they pick it up.
A useful rule of thumb: use tissue where speed and volume come first, and Airlaid where the table itself is part of the experience.
1-colour or full-colour print?
1-colour printing uses a single ink colour — ideal for a crisp logo stamp at lower cost. If your logo works in one colour (black, dark green or gold, for example), this is often the smartest choice.
Full-colour printing reproduces your complete design in vivid colour. Choose it if your logo has several colours or a gradient, or if you want a pattern or seasonal design.
