In a restaurant, the napkin sits on every table, at every cover, through every course. Yet it is often the one item on the table that says nothing about your venue. Branded napkins printed with your logo change that, and the order does not have to be large. This guide explains how a restaurant can choose the right size, the right print and a sensible run size, and how to get from logo to delivery in a few steps.

Why branded paper napkins work in a restaurant
Guests pick up their napkin several times per visit: when they sit down, between courses and when they settle the bill. A printed napkin puts your name exactly where your guest sits and eats. Because Natudine includes full-colour printing in the unit price, a complete design costs no more than a simple logo. There are no per-colour charges.
Which size fits which moment?
Natudine offers four sizes. For a restaurant, the choice comes down to when the napkin lands on the table:
- 20×20 cm (cocktail napkin): for the bar, drinks and aperitifs.
- 24×24 cm (lunch napkin): for lunch service, the terrace and smaller dishes.
- 33×33 cm (dinner napkin): for the dinner menu and set tables.
- 40×40 cm Airlaid (premium): feels like fabric, with more bulk and absorbency. For fine dining, hotel restaurants and special evenings.
The first three sizes are tissue napkins, our standard paper napkin. Many restaurants combine two sizes: a smaller napkin for the bar and lunch, and a dinner or Airlaid napkin for the evening.
For the fold, you choose between a 1/4 fold, which shows the largest printed surface on a set table, and a 1/8 fold, which is more compact and suits a dispenser at the bar or takeaway counter.
1-colour or full colour: what suits your restaurant?
1-colour printing uses a single ink colour. It gives a crisp logo stamp and is the most economical choice. It works well for a one-colour logo, such as black, dark green or gold, and suits a calm, classic table.
Full-colour printing reproduces your complete design in colour. Choose it if your logo has several colours or a gradient, or if you want to repeat a pattern that also appears on your menu or in your interior.
Logo placement: corner, centre or full pattern
In the configurator on our custom printed napkins page you also choose where your logo goes:
- Corner: the classic fold corner. Understated and visible as soon as the napkin lies folded on the table.
- Centre: the logo in the middle of the napkin.
- Full pattern: your logo repeated across the whole napkin, so it stays visible at every fold.
You also pick the logo size (small, medium or large) and can add an optional short text of up to 30 characters, such as your restaurant's name or website.
Low MOQ napkin printing: from 1,000 units
For a single restaurant, a branded napkin order does not need to be big. At Natudine, napkin branding starts at 1,000 units. The price per unit drops automatically as quantity goes up, to a maximum of 50,000 units per order in the configurator. That means you can start small, for example with one size for dinner service, and scale up or add a second size later.
A small first run is also a practical way to test a design in service before ordering for several locations.
